Kirkland Advises Maverick Ventures in Connection with SoftBank Vision Fund 2 Investment in LTK
Kirkland & Ellis advised Maverick Ventures, a global investment firm that has been investing in early stage companies for over 20 years, in connection with SoftBank Vision Fund 2’s $300 million investment in LTK, a pioneer of the creator economy and the largest global influencer marketing platform. The round of funding values the Dallas-based company at $2 billion.
The Kirkland team was comprised of litigation partner Taj Clayton, corporate Thomas Laughlin and corporate associate Sara Phipps.
