Kirkland Represents Fortive on $1.425 Billion Acquisition of Provation
Kirkland & Ellis advised Fortive Corporation, (NYSE: FTV), a provider of essential technologies for connected workflow solutions, on its acquisition of Provation Software, Inc., a leading provider of clinical workflow software solutions used in hospitals and ASCs, from Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. for $1.425 billion. Provation has a global customer base of more than 5,000 health systems, hospitals, surgery centers and medical offices, and its solutions are used in 19 of the top 20 U.S. hospitals. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
