Kirkland Advises General Catalyst on Growth Investment in SonarSource

Kirkland & Ellis advised General Catalyst on its lead role in a growth equity financing of SonarSource, the leading platform for clean code. The financing, which also included participation from Advent International, Insight Partners, and Permira’s Growth Opportunities Fund, raised $412 million in new investment and values SonarSource at $4.7 billion. SonarSource will use the investment to grow its go-to-market team globally as the company drives toward $1 billion in revenue.
