Kirkland Adds Investment Funds Partner Catherine Gokah in London
Kirkland & Ellis is pleased to announce that Catherine Gokah will join the Firm as a partner in the Investment Funds Group in the London office.
Ms. Gokah has extensive experience advising fund sponsors with respect to their core fundraising activities across multiple alternative asset classes including infrastructure, real estate and credit. She also advises on a variety of more bespoke arrangements including separately managed accounts, co-investment programs and liquidity solutions transactions.
“We are excited to have Catherine joining us,” said London-based investment funds partner Christopher Braunack. “She will bring significant additional senior resource to our European and global fundraising practice, in particular as it relates to both infrastructure and real estate funds, at a time when those asset classes are becoming more attractive to institutional investors in light of prevailing macro-economic conditions.”
Ms. Gokah joins Kirkland from the London office of Ashurst LLP, where she was a partner.
Kirkland’s European investment funds practice has over 25 partners and advises many of Europe’s preeminent investment fund sponsors with respect to their fundraisings, ongoing fund-related matters (including liquidity solutions) and sponsor strategic transactions.
