Kirkland Represents Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Successful Defense of Hostile Takeover and Full Slate Proxy Contest by Choice Hotels
Kirkland advised Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: WH), the world's largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,200 hotels spanning more than 95 countries, in its successful defense of a hostile takeover and full slate proxy contest brought by hostile bidder Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH). On March 11, 2024, Choice announced the expiration of its hostile exchange offer and the withdrawal of its slate of director nominees.
