Kirkland Advises Blackstone Infrastructure and EQT Infrastructure on Acquisition of Urbaser

Kirkland & Ellis is advising funds managed by Blackstone Infrastructure and EQT Infrastructure on the financing aspects of their agreement to acquire Urbaser, a leading global provider of integrated waste management and environmental services, from funds managed by Platinum Equity. Blackstone and EQT will each own 50% of Urbaser and jointly manage the company. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and approvals.
