Kirkland & Ellis advised AEVEX Corp., a portfolio company of Madison Dearborn Partners’ funds and a global defense leader in unmanned systems, on its underwritten public offering of 5,726,157 shares of its Class A common stock by AEVEX and 2,273,843 shares by certain selling stockholders at a public offering price of $27 per share. In addition, AEVEX and the selling stockholders granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 858,923 and 341,077 shares, respectively, at the public offering price.
This is AEVEX’s first follow-on offering, occurring just 48 days after its IPO on April 16, 2026, which Kirkland also led.
