Kirkland Advises Bridgepoint Credit on Close of €1.2 Billion Continuation Vehicle Led by Pantheon
Kirkland & Ellis advised Bridgepoint Credit, one of Europe’s most experienced credit managers, on the completion of a secondary transaction in which a newly formed continuation vehicle has acquired approximately €1.2 billion of commitments from Bridgepoint Direct Lending II. Pantheon, a global private markets investor is leading the vehicle alongside new and existing investors, with Bridgepoint Credit continuing to manage the portfolio through next phase of realization. The transaction attracted demand from both new and existing investors and was oversubscribed, reflecting conviction in the quality and resilience of the underlying portfolio of predominantly senior secured European middle-market loans.
