Kirkland Advises VTG on Sale of VTG Rail UK
Kirkland & Ellis advised VTG, a portfolio company of ADIA, GIP and OMERS, on the sale of VTG Rail UK, a high-performing wagon leasing business serving the UK rail freight market, to Universities Superannuation Scheme, one of the UK’s largest pension funds.
The transaction, which is not subject to any regulatory approvals, is expected to close in Q4 2026.
