Turnaround and Transaction of the Year Awards

Kirkland & Ellis restructuring partners Stephen Hessler and Ross Kwasteniet and litigation partner Stephen Hackney will be honored by the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) for their work on the restructuring of Patriot Coal Corporation at The Annual: TMA’s 28th annual conference on November 3, 2016. Patriot Coal’s restructuring was named “Transaction of the Year: Mega Company.” Since 1993, TMA has honored excellence through its annual awards program, which recognizes the most successful turnarounds and impactful transactions.
