Hands-On Experience

Kirkland's open assignment system exemplifies our emphasis on individual initiative. Our summer program provides realistic exposure to our practice. Summer associates have the freedom to select their work assignments as they would when they join the Firm as an associate. We invite summer associates to attend trials, hearings, depositions, closings, and client calls and meetings, and they also participate in a special edition of Kirkland's trial advocacy program and corporate training program.
