• Providing strategic advice to various companies concerning executive compensation and disclosure issues.
• Represented issuer in connection with SEC investigation relating to executive compensation and disclosure issues.

Foreign Judgment Enforcement

• Advising The Dow Chemical Company in exequatur action in Paris to enforce $800 million Nicaraguan judgment.

Insurance Coverage

• Represented various private equity firms and companies in making Rep & Warranty insurance claims based on policies issued to insure risk of breach of purchase agreements.
• Represented Philadelphia Energy Solutions in litigation seeking business interruption and property damage coverage stemming from a catastrophic loss at its refinery.

Toxic Tort

• Represented DuPont in several individual and putative class actions related to alleged chloroprene emissions from a facility in Louisiana.
• Represented Syngenta in personal injury lawsuit related to exposure to a pesticide.

False Claims Act

• Trial and litigation counsel for Albertsons Companies’ affiliates in False Claims Act suit challenging Medicare and Medicaid submissions over nine-year period. Secured summary judgment in both cases within one year after taking over for prior counsel.
