Overview

Devin Anderson is a litigation partner in the Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C., offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation, and he has briefed and argued cases in trial and appellate courts across the country on a wide array of issues. Devin does a lot of work in the area of class actions and cybersecurity, where he has achieved multiple precedent-setting victories on behalf of clients. In addition, Devin has achieved multiple wins before the Supreme Court in merits cases.

Devin has been widely recognized for his advocacy on behalf of clients. Law360 named Devin a “Rising Star” in 2024, and Utah Business named him one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” in 2024. In addition Lawdragon has identified Devin as a “Leading Global Cyber Lawyer” and one of the “500 X – The Next Generation,” which spotlights “the future leaders of law.”

Devin has also taught as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Before joining Kirkland, Devin served as law clerk to Judge Sandra Ikuta on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Judge G. Murray Snow on the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
