Amy Barber is a technology & IP transactions partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Amy's practice focuses on technology, intellectual property, and data-related transactions and counseling, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic commercial contracting, outsourcing and services agreements, cloud services contracting, software license agreements, intellectual property development and licensing, and strategic alliances. Amy regularly counsels clients in a range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, consumer goods, manufacturing, transportation and e-commerce. Amy also helps global companies evaluate the risks and opportunities related to the use of transformational technologies, allocation of data rights, and new business-driving trends such as data monetization and artificial intelligence.
