Overview

Merav Bennett is a litigation associate in Kirkland’s Chicago office. She represents companies in all aspects of complex trial and appellate litigation, with a focus on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and securities class actions, contract disputes and corporate governance issues. Merav has extensive experience drafting briefs in federal district and appellate courts, including at the U.S. Supreme Court, and has drafted numerous judicial opinions as a law clerk to Judge Cornelia Pillard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and to Judge Gary Feinerman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She combines sophisticated legal analysis with incisive arguments, discerning strategy and cogent writing to advance her clients’ interests at every stage of litigation.
