Jermaine Scott Cherry is a corporate associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on representing public and private companies and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex public and private mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, take-private transactions, joint ventures and carve-outs.
Jermaine’s practice also includes advising public companies and their boards of directors and management on corporate governance, shareholder activism and hostile takeover defense and preparedness, investor relations, ESG-related issues, and other corporate, transactional, and securities law matters and special situations.
