Overview

Jessica Corr is a corporate partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Jessica’s practice focuses on advising a broad range of financial investor clients, including private equity houses, private companies and other financial sponsors globally. Jessica has particular experience in cross-border private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and general corporate advisory and governance matters.

Since joining Kirkland, Jessica worked on the following matters, advising:

  • Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, on its acquisition of a 50% controlling stake in Opella from Sanofi, for an enterprise value of €16 billion
  • Clayton Dubilier & Rice, on its agreement to acquire Focus Financial Partners Incorporated, in an all-cash transaction valued at over $7 billion
  • Clayton Dubilier & Rice, on its acquisition of a 50% controlling stake in Sanofi, a consumer healthcare business headquartered in France and operating in 100 countries with 13 strategic manufacturing sites and four science and innovation development centres, for an enterprise value of €16 billion
  • TPG on the acquisition of Aareon for €3.9 billion
  • Advent on the sale of V.Group to a consortium led by STAR Capital
  • Asda Group and TDR, owned by the Issa brothers, investment funds managed by TDR Capital and Walmart, on its acquisition of EG Group’s UK and Ireland operations for an enterprise value of £2.27 billion, consisting of c. 350 petrol filling station sites and over 1,000 food-to-go locations
  • CD&R and Morrisons on the sale by Morrisons of its petrol forecourts to, and entry into a strategic partnership with, Motor Fuel Group
  • TDR Capital on the acquisition of a majority stake in Asda

  • A&M Capital Advisers Europe Limited on its acquisition of Carton Pack group
  • Astorg Partners and its portfolio companies on investments in regulatory infrastructure and software specialist groups:
    • Augentius Group

  • Bain Capital on its acquisition of Kantar Group, a leading global data, research, consulting and analytics business
  • BC Partners on its sale of Antelliq, a France-based developer of digital animal identification, traceability and monitoring solutions, to Merck
  • Blackstone Growth on investments in:
    • Mollie, a next-generation payment services provider
    • Epidemic Sound, the market leading platform for restriction-free music
  • Depop Limited on its $1.6 million sale to Etsy
  • Howden Group and its portfolio companies on investments in insurance companies:

  • Savannah Petroleum plc on its investment in and acquisition of the Seven Energy group
  • Sunley Capital, as a minority shareholder in Trustpilot Group plc (Denmark) in Trustpilot's initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange
  • Triton and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) (the Consortium) on the acquisition of IFCO, a unit of Australian Securities Exchange-listed Brambles Limited
