Kirkland Recognized at Sommet du Droit

Kirkland has been awarded “Deal of the Year 2025” at the Sommet du Droit for leading the M&A and reinvestment aspects of CD&R’s entry into exclusive negotiations with Sanofi for the acquisition of a 50% controlling stake in Opella, a global leader in consumer healthcare. This transaction is the largest of its kind ever completed in France and one of Europe’s most significant.

Sommet du Droit, organized by Leaders League and Décideurs Magazine, is an annual event in Paris recognizing the best French and international law firms. The 2026 ceremony featured over 35 categories honoring excellence and innovation.
