Kirkland Advises Cinven on Sale of Strategic Minority Stake in Envu to GIC

Kirkland & Ellis advised private equity firm Cinven and its portfolio company Envu on a sale of a strategic minority stake in Envu to institutional investor GIC. Cinven will remain the majority investor in Envu, which is a pure-play environmental science solutions provider. Envu was created by Cinven in 2022 through the carve-out from Bayer of its Environmental Science Professional business, leveraging Cinven’s leading industrial carve-out and DACH / North American regional franchises.
