Overview

Akshay Deoras is an intellectual property litigation partner in Kirkland’s Bay Area office focusing on complex patent infringement and trade secret litigation in federal courts and the US International Trade Commission. Akshay has tried numerous cases to verdict, both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. In January 2026, Akshay obtained a complete defense win before trial in a semiconductor manufacturing case on behalf of Applied Materials.

Akshay’s practice involves a wide range of technologies, including semiconductor technology, telecommunications, computer networking, computer graphics, computer security, content protection, mobile devices and pharmaceuticals.

Recognized by Chambers USA since 2023, with one client noting, “Akshay is an excellent partner with great knowledge in both tech and patent law.” Recommended in the 2026 Legal 500 for trade secrets litigation.
