Overview
Amber Harezlak is a technology and intellectual property transactions partner in the Salt Lake City and Bay Area offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She advises on the technology, IP, cybersecurity and data privacy aspects of complex corporate transactions, serving as a key advisor to private equity sponsors and strategic clients. Amber also represents clients in strategic commercial arrangements, including joint ventures, licensing, supply, development and collaboration agreements. Her practice spans a range of industries, with a particular focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and software, as well as business services and consumer brands. Drawing on her academic background in bioengineering, Amber brings a differentiated perspective to transactions in the life sciences sector, where she regularly advises on IP-intensive matters.
