Overview

Cohl Love is a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with a focus in products liability and mass tort trials. He has represented clients nationwide in a variety of high-stakes civil cases, including federal consumer class actions, complex contract disputes and expansive mass tort matters. Additionally, Cohl has taken a key role in developing and implementing trial strategy in various state and federal courts. Most recently, he served as trial counsel in a criminal action in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. In addition to his litigation work, Cohl has contributed to the legal community both through his scholarly works, publishing independently through the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association and other reputable literary sources, and by serving in various organizational roles, including as an editor for the American Bar Association. Cohl also worked closely with restatement drafter, Aaron D. Twerski, in developing the latest edition ofh is leading torts treatise.
