Adam Nguyen is a tax partner in the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Adam helps clients identify and navigate U.S. federal income tax issues and opportunities. He commonly advises clients on complex transactions and restructurings, with particular experience in matters relating to partnership tax, such as fund formations, joint ventures, restructurings of businesses historically conducted in partnership form, and disputes over complex allocation or distribution schemes. He also serves as a lecturer at UC Berkeley School of Law, where he teaches partnership tax.
