Overview

Adam Wexner is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies on complex business transactions. Adam has extensive experience handling domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations, and regularly counsels clients on executive compensation and incentive equity arrangements and general corporate matters.

Adam has structured, negotiated and closed M&A transactions ranging in size from less than $100 million to more than $3 billion for clients such as Thomas H. Lee Partners, Pritzker Private Capital, Aterian Investment Partners, Blue Sea Capital, Vesey Street Healthcare Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures.

Adam earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. His civic and nonprofit leadership includes serving as a Founding Member of the Impact Council for A Better Chicago, a venture philanthropy fund focused on improving educational opportunities for low-income Chicagoans.
