Jared Whalen is an executive compensation partner in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He advises public and private companies, private equity funds and portfolio companies on the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of a wide range of business transactions. Jared also advises clients on their ongoing executive compensation and benefit programs, including the design and implementation of cash and equity incentive programs. In addition, Jared regularly assists clients in the negotiation of executive employment, change in control and separation agreements.
