Intellectual Property Today's Survey Ranks IP Litigation Decisions

This survey, published by Intellectual Property Today polled more than 20,000 in-house and outside IP counsel and asked respondents to choose the most important case litigated by a U.S.-based firm in each area of patent, copyright, and trademark law in the last five years.  The case of Holmes Group, Inc. v. Vornado Air Circulation Sys., Inc. ranked second in the category of important patent litigation cases.  Kirkland represented respondent, Vornado Air Circulation Sys., Inc.  Kirkland was mentioned a second time in the patent litigation case category.  The case of Rambus, Inc. v. Infineon Techs. ranked sixth.  Kirkland represented defendant Infineon Techs.  Kirkland & Ellis was one of three law firms to be mentioned in the survey more than once.
