Mergers & Acquisitions: The Law and Leading Lawyers Worldwide 2003-2004

The fourth edition of the Global Counsel Mergers and Acquisitions Handbook provides practical, comparative and accurate information in relation to the regulation of cross-border M&A. The handbook also indentifies recommended law firms and lawyers for M&A in various geographical areas with a rating of "Leading," "Highly Recommended," or "Recommended." 

Kirkland & Ellis was "recommended" in the United States-National category. The firm was also mentioned as one of three "leading" firms in Chicago and was "recommended" in New York.

Additionally, several Chicago partners were named as outstanding M&A attorneys. Jack Levin was named one of five "leading" lawyers in Chicago. Carter Emerson and Kevin Evanich were "highly recommended," and Scott Falk and Bill Fraumann were "recommended."
