Kirkland Advises Ardian and SLV Lighting Group on Refinancing

Kirkland & Ellis has advised Ardian and its portfolio company SLV Lighting Group (SLV) on the completion of SLV’s circa €275 million refinancing.

The new five-year unitranche financing is complemented by a super senior revolving credit facility and fully refinances SLV’s existing debt. The package provides a stable, long-term capital structure to support SLV’s future growth path and is accompanied by a new equity contribution by Ardian.

SLV is one of Europe’s leading companies in the lighting industry that offers a broad portfolio of more than 13,000 lighting products as well as accessories across residential, commercial, industrial and outdoor applications. SLV positions itself as a leading partner in European mid-market lighting, known for design-driven fixtures engineered for professional installation and trusted by electricians.
