Kirkland ranked first by deal volume in the Midwest in the first half of 2007 according to mergermarket's "Deal Drivers: The Comprehensive Review of North American Mergers & Acquisitions." The Firm also ranked fifth by deal volume in the South/Southeast and sixth on the West Coast.
Rankings are based on announced transactions from January 1, 2007, through June 30, 2007, where Kirkland advised either the North American bidder, target or vendor, for deals with North American targets, in all sectors of M&A. Deals are included when the transaction value is greater than or equal to $5 million.
Kirkland was also ranked in the following categories:
