Kirkland & Ellis Represents Archer Capital on Closing of A$1.5 Billion Archer Capital Fund 5
Kirkland & Ellis represented Archer Capital, a leading independent Australian private equity firm, which recently closed its fifth private equity fund Archer Capital Fund 5. The fund was significantly oversubscribed and closed with aggregate capital commitments of A$1.5 billion. The fund, which will make leveraged buyout investments in Australia and New Zealand, accepted commitments from a broad mix of global institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, endowments and foundations, diversified financial institutions and family offices.
The Kirkland team was led by Hong Kong-based private funds partners Christopher Braunack and Justin Dolling, and private funds associates Alexandra Conroy, Juliet Anderson and Jennifer Feng.
