Kirkland Advises Audax Group in Formation of Audax Private Equity Fund V at $2.25 Billion

Kirkland & Ellis advised Audax Group in the formation and fundraising of Audax Private Equity Fund V, its fifth flagship fund, which completed its global fundraising in six months and held its final closing on November 16, 2015. In a significantly oversubscribed fundraise, Fund V closed at its hard cap of $2.25 billion, exceeding its $1.75 billion target, and provided Audax with an 80 percent increase in limited partner capital commitments from Fund IV.
