Kirkland Advises Blackstone on Acquisitions of Therma Holdings and RE Tech Advisors
Kirkland & Ellis counseled Blackstone Energy Partners on its definitive agreements for two acquisitions in furtherance of Blackstone’s support for the transition to cleaner, affordable energy. Kirkland first advised Blackstone on its pending acquisition of Therma Holdings LLC, a leading specialty mechanical, electrical and controls services company, and separately advised Blackstone on its pending acquisition of RE Tech Advisors, Inc., a leading energy and sustainability consulting firm. Following closing, RE Tech will be integrated into Therma and the combined company will offer customers a comprehensive suite of sustainability, carbon reduction, and energy management services.
