Kirkland Represents KKR on Acquisition of Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC)
Kirkland & Ellis advised KKR, a leading global investment firm, on its acquisition of a majority interest in Integrated Specialty Coverages (“ISC”), a leading, multi-line insurance distributor that builds end-to-end insurance products utilizing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) engineering and data analytics. Sightway Capital, a Two Sigma private equity business, is selling its majority position and will continue to hold a stake in ISC as a minority shareholder. KKR is making its investment in ISC through its Americas XII Fund. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners Jennifer Perkins and Rajab Abbassi and associate Colin Zelicof, debt finance partners Eric Wedel and Rachel Gray, tax partners Mike Beinus and Vivek Ratnam, and executive compensation partner Scott Price.
