Kirkland Advises Smarsh Inc. on $375 Million Acquisition of Digital Safe
Kirkland & Ellis is advising Smarsh Inc., a global leader in electronic communications archiving solutions for regulated organisations and a portfolio company of funds managed by K1 Investment Management LLC., on the acquisition of Digital Safe archiving and risk management portfolio from Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO; NYSE: MFGP), for a total consideration of $375 million. Digital Safe offers users information governance and automated archiving solutions to access, govern, search, analyse and centrally manage data.
