Kirkland Represents Bolthouse Farms on Acquisition of Evolution Fresh From Starbucks

Kirkland & Ellis advised Bolthouse Farms, the innovation leader in growing and distributing carrots and high-quality, nutrient-dense branded products, and a portfolio company of Butterfly Equity, a Los Angeles, California-based private equity firm, on its acquisition of the brand and business of Evolution Fresh from Starbucks. Evolution Fresh is a leading producer of primarily organic, cold-pressed, premium juice products. The transaction, which is for an undisclosed amount, is expected to close later this year.
