Kirkland Advises Macy’s on $500 Million Notes Offering and $250 Million Tender Offer
Kirkland & Ellis advised Macy’s, Inc. (NYSE: M) on an offering of $500 million in aggregate principal amount of 7.375% senior notes due 2033 and a concurrent tender offer to repurchase $250 million in aggregate principal amount of certain of its outstanding senior notes and debentures. The proceeds from the notes offering were used to fund the tender offer, redeem certain other outstanding senior notes and debentures and pay fees, premium and expenses in connection with the foregoing. The notes offering and tender offer closed on July 29, 2025.
