Kirkland Advises Bernhard Capital-Backed Delta Utilities on Acquisition of Spire Inc.’s Mississippi Natural Gas Business
Kirkland & Ellis advised Delta Utilities, the second largest natural gas utility in Mississippi and a Bernhard Capital Partners portfolio company, on an agreement to acquire a Mississippi local natural gas distribution company from a subsidiary of Spire Inc. (NYSE: SR) that serves approximately 18,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers across south central Mississippi.
