Kirkland Represents HarbourVest as Lead in Willow Tree's $730 Million Credit CV Transaction

Kirkland & Ellis advised HarbourVest Partners L.P. as the sole lead investor on Willow Tree Credit Partners’ $730 million credit continuation fund transaction. The deal involved the acquisition of a portfolio of 130 securities, primarily first lien senior secured loans and equity interests in middle-market companies held through CLO vehicles that transferred as part of the transaction from Willow Tree Fund II. The transaction represents the first credit continuation vehicle HarbourVest has led since successfully launching its credit secondaries strategy earlier this year.
