Kirkland Advises AKTIV Against Cancer on Merger with CancerFit

Kirkland & Ellis advised AKTIV Against Cancer, a nonprofit organization focused on exercise-based cancer treatment, rehabilitation and survivorship programs, on a merger agreement with CancerFit, a provider of complimentary fitness and wellness programs for cancer patients and survivors. Once the merger is completed, AKTIV will expand its capabilities and footprint in furthering research in exercise-oncology and providing exercise centers in cancer treatment hospitals across the U.S.
