Kirkland & Ellis advised Blackstone (NYSE: BX) on the final close of its energy transition-focused private equity fund, Blackstone Energy Transition Partners V, which closed at $8.7 billion and is more than 50% larger than its predecessor vehicle. Blackstone Energy Transition Partners seeks to build energy companies at scale that deliver cleaner, more reliable and more affordable energy to meet growing global needs.
