Kirkland Advises Thoma Bravo-Backed Proofpoint on $6.3 Billion Acquisition of Varonis
Kirkland & Ellis advised Proofpoint, Inc., a Thoma Bravo portfolio company and a global leader in human-centric cybersecurity, on its definitive agreement to acquire Varonis in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $6.3 billion. Upon completion of the transaction, Varonis will become part of Proofpoint, further enhancing its cybersecurity and data protection capabilities.
