Armand is a partner in the M&A/Private Equity Practice Group. He serves as lead counsel to large- and middle-market buyout funds and to public and privately owned companies in a variety of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including leveraged acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, equity and debt financings, and workouts. Armand has broad experience counseling clients in a variety of industries, including health care, business services, software, technology, telecom, cable, broadcast, media, data centers, insurance and consumer products.
Armand is part of a core group of Kirkland partners who opened the Firm’s Boston office in 2017. He holds various leadership roles across the Firm and in the Boston office. Armand was previously based in Kirkland’s New York office for 20 years.
