Armand is a partner in the M&A/Private Equity Practice Group. He serves as lead counsel to large- and middle-market buyout funds and to public and privately owned companies in a variety of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including leveraged acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, equity and debt financings, and workouts. Armand has broad experience counseling clients in a variety of industries, including health care, business services, software, technology, telecom, cable, broadcast, media, data centers, insurance and consumer products.
Armand was based in Kirkland’s New York office for 20 years before relocating to Boston to open the Firm’s Boston office in 2017. He serves on various firm-wide committees, including the Finance Committee, Partner Review Committee, Associate and Partner Compensation Committee, and Administrative Committee. He also co-chairs the Boston office Operations Committee.
