Kirkland Advises Nordic Capital to Acquire BWXT Medical

Kirkland & Ellis advised Nordic Capital, an experienced healthcare investor with broad expertise and a deep understanding of the radiopharmaceutical industry and its value chain, on its definitive agreement with BWX Technologies to acquire BWX Technologies’ medical business. The transaction, valued at up to $800 million, includes BWXT Medical and Kinectrics’ stable medical isotopes business. The transaction was announced August 3, 2026.
