Six Kirkland Transactions Honored at IFR Awards

Kirkland teams led six standout transactions in 2025 that earned top recognition at the International Financing Review (IFR) Awards.

The Firm advised on the following awards:

  • Equity Award – Asia Pacific Secondary Equity Issue (Contemporary Amperex Technology’s HK$41B follow-on): Kirkland led Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited’s global offering and listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Equity Award – EMEA IPO (Verisure’s €3.59B IPO): Kirkland advised GIC in connection with Verisure’s intention to list its shares on Nasdaq Stockholm in Verisure’s €3.59 billion IPO.
  • Issuer Award – Financing Package (Blue Owl Capital/Beignet Investor’s $27.3B 23.6-year bond): Kirkland led Blue Owl Capital’s joint venture with Meta Platforms, Inc. to finance the approximately $27 billion development of the Hyperion data center campus in Richland Parish, Louisiana, which will consist of multiple data center buildings and power, cooling and connectivity infrastructure.
  • Loan Award – North America Loan (Warner Bros Discovery’s $17.5B bridge loan): Kirkland led Warner Bros. Discovery’s plans to separate the company, in a tax-free transaction, into two publicly traded companies.
  • Loan Award – North America Private Credit Loan (Jeppesen ForeFlight’s $4.2B financing): Kirkland led Thoma Bravo’s definitive agreement to purchase $10.55 billion of digital aviation assets from Boeing. The transaction includes portions of Boeing’s Digital Aviation Solutions business, such as its Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData and OzRunways assets.
  • Restructuring Award – Asia Pacific Restructuring (Kaisa Group Holdings’ $12.3B restructuring): Kirkland advised the ad hoc group of noteholders on the successful restructuring of over $16 billion in offshore liabilities of Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd.
