Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Outs

Partner Jess Krannich and associates Chris Mack, Chris Stackhouse, Jon Collier, Rebecca Nelson, Brad Barber and Jordan Smith received a shout-out for The American Lawyer Litigation Daily's "Litigator of the Week" contest for their work for Route. 

"... Last year we shouted out a Fox Rothschild team that beat back a preliminary injunction bid by Route barring ecommerce consultant Marc Heuberger from offering a rival technology to Route’s shipping insurance for ecommerce merchants. Well, this week we’re shouting out Route’s lawyers at Kirkland & Ellis, for getting a ruling last week from U.S. District Judge Ted Stewart in Utah turning back a challenge to Route’s restrictive covenants, which include two-year non-compete and non-solicitation provisions for merchant partners such as Heuberger. The judge found the scope and duration of the provisions were reasonable. The Kirkland team included partner Jess Krannich, associates Chris Mack, Chris Stackhouse, Jon Collier, Rebecca Nelson, Brad Barber and Jordan Smith."
