U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Hixson in San Francisco denied class certification with prejudice, finding the plaintiffs’ price-premium methodology couldn’t reliably calculate class-wide damages and rejecting their full-refund theory because they had not shown the products were devoid of value."
