Kirkland Advises Blackstone and Consortium on $4.73 Billion Bid for Signature Aviation
Kirkland & Ellis is advising Blackstone and Brown Bidco Limited (“Bidco”), a consortium including Blackstone, Cascade and Global Infrastructure Partners, on the $4.73 billion USD recommended cash take private of Signature Aviation (“Signature”). Signature is the world’s largest fixed base operation network for Business & General Aviation travellers. It is intended that the acquisition will be implemented by way of a scheme of arrangement.
The team was led by transactional partners David Holdsworth, Dipak Bhundia and David Higgins and included associate Jiri Peterka, debt finance partners Stephen Lucas, Kirsteen Nicol and Melissa Hutson, tax partners Timothy Lowe and Mike Beinus and antitrust and competition partners Mike Robert-Smith and Paula Riedel.
