Kirkland Advises Dream Industrial REIT and Dream Unlimited Corp. on Acquisition of Chancerygate Group

Kirkland & Ellis advised Dream Industrial REIT and Dream Unlimited Corp. on acquiring Chancerygate Group, a UK-based industrial developer and asset manager with a 30-year track record in the multi-let industrial sector.

As part of the transaction, Dream Unlimited Corp. will assume Chancerygate's investment management and development platform, and Dream Industrial REIT will acquire Chancerygate's wholly owned real estate assets and co-investment interests across its managed ventures. The transaction results in significant growth for Dream Industrial REIT’s private ventures business in Europe. Chancerygate currently manages a diversified portfolio of income producing and development assets totalling £1.2 billion ($2.2 billion).
