Kirkland Advises Thrive Holdings on $2 Billion Fundraise
Kirkland & Ellis advised Thrive Holdings, a holding company formed by Thrive Capital, on a $2 billion round of financing from existing institutional partners and new outside investors including D1 Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and SoftBank, bringing the total amount raised by Thrive Holdings since inception to more than $3 billion. The new capital will be used to help scale existing platforms in accounting and IT services, and to launch a new platform focused on the technical and regulatory work required to get essential infrastructure approved, built, certified, and kept in long-term operation.
