Kirkland Advises Ares on Acquisition of Stake in U.S. Solar and Battery Portfolio from EDPR
Kirkland & Ellis advised an Ares Infrastructure Equity fund on its acquisition of an 80% stake in a 384 MW solar and storage portfolio with an enterprise value of approximately $800 million from EDP Renewables, S.A. (EDPR), a leading global developer, owner and operator of renewable energy infrastructure. The portfolio includes 200 MW of solar and 184 MW of battery energy storage in California.
